In Their Words
Stories of Caring Place Children, Teens and Adults
The words of those who have walked the road of grief can often speak most directly to us. Here are stories from those — young and old — who have walked this road. These children, teens and adults speak candidly about what it feels like to experience the death of one who had been woven into the fabric of their lives, and of the profound healing that can occur simply by being accepted right where they are by a community of others who understand just what they are going through.
In addition, there are the words from one of the pioneers in the field of children and grief, Rabbi Dr. Earl Grollman, who spoke at the Caring Place.
